HUBERT BLUNT JR.

Hubert ``Junnie'' Blunt Jr., 60, of the 2200 block of King St., died March 26, 1997, in his home.

Born in Severn, N.C., he was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville, Portsmouth. Mr. Blunt was a foreman for Harrison & Wright Construction Co., retiring after 25 years service.

Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Blunt; a daughter, Levoria Eley, Portsmouth; two sisters, Georgia Ruth Blunt of New York City, Annie Mae Warren of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in New First Baptist Church Taylorsville by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
