Police have arrested two men in connection with several armed robberies, attempted robberies and larcenies that occurred on March 14 and 17.
The men, Wayne Seymour Frank and Tommy Ray Anderson, are being held in the Portsmouth City Jail facing a total of 20 charges.
Frank, 27, of the 1000 block of Crabapple St., was arrested March 24. Anderson, 18, of the 1400 block of Barbour Drive, was arrested Monday.

Chesapeake police have issued warrants against Frank for armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery following a March 17 incident. He is charged with robbing a 78-year-old woman in front of a store in the 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd.

Suspects sought in
Long John Silver robbery
On March 22, at around 9:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Long John Silvers restaurant at 5405 Portsmouth Blvd.
Two men entered the restaurant and one of the men showed a handgun and demanded money. Both men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects are described as black males in their 20s. One man is 6 feet 2 and 180 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other suspect is 5-8, 190 pounds, wearing an army coat, a gray hooded sweatshirt and burgundy pants. There were no reported injuries.
