MILTON N. VAUGHAN

Milton N. ``Nat'' Vaughan, 56, of the 2700 block of Roanoke Ave., died April 19, 1997, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

A native of Portsmouth, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Antoinette L. Byrd of Portsmouth; father, Nathaniel Johnson of Portsmouth; three sisters, Jean C. Johnson of Danville, Va., Barbara Williams Lawrence of Fredericksburg, Va., Sharon E. Chappell of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Vernon Williams Jr. of Suffolk, Adrian C. Williams of Portsmouth; stepfather, Vernon Williams Sr. of Portsmouth; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds Sr. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, with military honors. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
