Edna Earle Martin, 72, of the 200 block of Franklin Ave., died June 1, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Wilson, N.C., she was the widow of Lawrence John Martin.
Survivors include a daughter, Faye D. Meagher, and a son, Larry J. Martin, both of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 3502 Brighton St., Portsmouth.
