Jessie Edward Beacham, 47, of the 1000 block of Land of Promise Road, died Aug. 23, 1997, at his residence.
He was born in Bethel, N.C., the son of the late Benjamin E. Beacham. He was the owner of J.E. Beacham Painting.
He is survived by two sons, Tyler Edward Beacham of Virginia Beach and Steven Edward Beacham of Las Vegas; his mother, Annie Mae Beacham of Tarboro, N.C.; his fiancee, Betsy E. Higginbotham; ex-wife, Linda Beacham; three sisters, Pearlene Marks, Frances Rainwater and Esther Tyson; and two brothers, Earl Beacham and George Beacham.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Linda Beacham, 485 Cranston Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
