William F. Buckley Jr. will speak at Old Dominion University on Sept. 25. A wrong date was given in Thursday's Daily Break calendar of upcoming events. Buckley - author, conservative columnist and lecturer - will speak at ODU as the opening event of the President's Lecture Series, at 8 p.m. in the Webb Center north cafeteria. It is free and open to the public. Call 683-3116 for information.

An A1 item describing a Princess Diana interview story was misleading. It said, ``Diana's Final Interview.'' In fact, it was the most recent interview to be published before the Princess' death. At least one other reporter claims to have spoken with Diana after that interview, but no story appeared before the fatal car crash.
In last Tuesday's Daily Break, a family-outing story referred to a 15-gauge train at Mike's Trainland in Suffolk. The locomotive is yellow, not the caboose, as the story said.
