NATHANIEL CHISHOLM JR.

Nathaniel ``Nat'' Chisholm Jr. of the 1100 block of Horne Ave. died Sept. 28, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center.

Born in Chester, S.C., he was a carpenter for the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority for three years and also for Chisholm Brothers Construction Co. for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Armentta R. Chisholm; three daughters, Natalie M. Chisholm-Boyd, Tammar N. Chisholm, Tiffany N. Chisholm, all of Portsmouth; two sons, Nat ``Daddy-O'' Chisholm-Boyd, Nathaniel Chisholm III, both of Portsmouth; his parents, Willa Mae Chisholm and Nathaniel Chisholm Sr. of Portsmouth; two brothers, Donald Chisholm, Ronald Chisholm, both of Portsmouth; two grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
