Frances Roberts Jordan, 82, a resident of the Ocean View area since 1944, died Sept. 29, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Portsmouth, she was the widow of Lloyd G. Jordan and a retired bookkeeper. She was a past member of Ocean View Democratic Club.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd G. Jordan Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Kenny Roberts Jordan of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Lisa Gifford Snyder of Norfolk, Jennifer Jordan of Jacksonville; two great-grandchildren, Kristin Snyder and Zachary Snyder, both of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Richard E. Prince. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lee's Friends.
