HARRY K. MITCHELL

Harry K. Mitchell, 70, died Sept. 27, 1997, at his residence.

Mr. Mitchell was born in Swathmore, Pa., and was a Methodist. He had retired from Givens Trucking Co. after 12 years and had also retired from National Airlines as senior station manager, Norfolk, after 22 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 898 and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane L. Christison of Virginia Beach and Debra J. Mitchell of Gladstone, Mo.; a son, Donald R. Mitchell of New York state; a brother and his wife, Kenneth A. and Janet Mitchell of Weaverville, N.C.; two granddaughters; a niece; and two nephews.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lee's Friends, 618 Stockley Gardens, Norfolk, Va. 23507. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge.
