Grace M. Toxey, 93, of the 6100 block of Tidewater Drive, died Oct. 7, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Buena Vista, Va., she was the widow of Cecil M. Toxey Sr. and a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Cecil M. Toxey Jr. and wife, Geraldine, of Norfolk; two grandsons, Ronald C. Toxey of Norfolk and Larry R. Toxey of Carlisle, Pa.; two great-granddaughters, Jill Toxey and Mellisa Toxey, both of Norfolk; two nieces; and two nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Bruce Carper. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 6 to 7 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
