Lillian Adele Dacomos, 83, of Afton Parkway, died Oct. 7, 1997, in her residence.
A native of Baltimore, Md., she was the widow of Modesto Dacomos and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve Association Unit 37.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanita L. Cherry and her husband, Victor H. of Portsmouth; a son, John F. Rosette of El Cajon, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Victoria L. Saxby and her husband, Ryland of Suffolk, James Cherry, Steven Cherry, Wendy A. Edwards and husband, Jeffrey, all of Chesapeake, Linda Beagle and husband, Harry of Seaford, Va., Terri Rosette, John Rosette and Brian Rosette, all of California; four great-grandchildren, James Hargrove and Brandon Hargrove, both of Seaford, Andrew Edwards and Alexander Edwards, both of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park by the Rev. T.M. Frye. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today during which time a Fleet Reserve Service will be held. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
