LIDA A. RODWELL

Lida A. Rodwell, 98, of the 200 Block of 34th St., a retired railroad secretary, died Nov. 11, 1997.

Mrs. Rodwell was a native of Norfolk and was the daughter of Lileus W. and Mallie S. Atkinson and the widow of Walton E. Rodwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach.

Survivors include two nephews, R. Shelburne Ruddick and his wife, Louise, of Richmond, Richard M. Ruddick and his wife, Hortense, of Chesapeake; two nieces-in-law, Adele B. DeFord of Norfolk and Claire E. Amory of Virginia Beach; two great-nephews, a great-niece and a great-great-nephew.

A private family service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on November 14, 1997. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
