Jerald James ``Jerry'' Coleman of the 200 block of Harrier St. died Nov. 24, 1997, in his residence.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., he was a supervisor for King Koil Mattress and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Coleman of Norfolk; a daughter, Sirena Yvette Johnson of Virginia Beach; his mother, Ethel Coleman of Norfolk; three sisters, Claudia Franks, Anita Thompson and Rochelle Gordon, all of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Dasha Johnson and Talor Johnson, both of Virginia Beach; a son-in-law, Michael Johnson of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, by the Rev. Anthony Paige. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be available for viewing from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, and will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
