A mild- mannered railroad clerk who befriended the children in his Roanoke
County neighborhood has admitted molesting four of them over a 14-year period.
Robert Paul Dallas pled guilty today to 24 separate sex offenses.
The prosecutor says Dallas preyed on girls from broken homes- -where the
children were easily manipulated.

Police say 18- year- old Joshua Hall Williams robbed Papa Johns Pizza, tied

Residents of a Southeast Roanoke neighborhood are angry about a cross-
