In Chicago they're asking just how low can it go?
Eleven below last night prompted the city to double team a special task
force to get people off the streets and into shelters.
34 year old James Marion is an out of work dishwasher- who would rather
sleep in the street than go to a shelter.

A train jumped the tracks in California this morning- exploding into a ball

Rescue crews found the body of one crew member.
Another is missing and at least 20-people are hurt.

The 49-car freight train was carrying hazardous chemicals-
Firefighters fearing the chemicals were unable to fight back.
Emergency crews did evacuate people who lived nearby and closed down
The injured include ten police officers who complained of shortness of
breath, chest pains and skin rashes.
A Danville judge did not take long to convict Phil Dennis Clayborne of
robbery and first degree murder.
Judge James Ingram made his decision just minutes after the defense rested
its case without calling any witnesses.
Clayborne was convicted of strangling 32- year old Angel Lewis Dejesus
(De-HEY-seus) of New Jersey.
His body was discovered outside a Danville home last July.
Dejesus travelled from New Jersey to visit a childhood friend.
Members of his family say they can begin to heal now that the trial is over.

Clayborne will be sentenced in March.
The New River Valley Regional Jail Authority is rolling out the welcome mat
for Wythe County.
The authority voted to invite Sheriff Wayne Pike to discuss the
possibilities of joining its plans.
The jail it has proposed would house prisoners from Radford and Giles,
Grayson and Pulaski Counties.

Helen Anderson believes she may have found that solution, with a
combination of the drugs Fenfluramine and Phentermine.
She started on the medications at a Northern Virginia clinic, and has since
transferred to Roanoke's Center for Bariatric Medicine.
The result-- since the end of September, she's lost 40 pounds.

fat blocker called Orlistat is also undergoing long-term study.
Even the drug Prozac-- given in large doses-- has produced weight loss in
the research lab.
