Marguerite Lowery's brother and daughter have said they will witness his
lethal injection tonight.
Beavers' attorneys says their client is brain-damaged, and was incompetent
to stand trial.

The decision to close a Kroger warehouse in West Virginia and transfer
jobs to Roanoke County spawned a lawsuit in May.
Now a judge has ruled that the supermarket chain did NOT violate any
agreements when it made the move.

Citizens and union leaders filed suit after Kroger decided to close the
distribution center in Charleston.
The group argued that Kroger had an obligation to stay in West Virginia
because the company had accepted tax breaks.
But a West Virginia judge ruled this week that while Kroger did use low-
interest bonds to build retail stores, the money was not used to construct the
Charleston warehouse.

Investigators still hope to find the remains of two teenagers whose
disappearance- -in the late 70's- -has been linked to Earl Bramblett.
A judge will sentence Bramblett next week... almost certainly imposing the
death penalty set by the jury.
In the meantime, the State Police Violent Crimes unit has been pursuing
leads in the case of Tammy Akers and Angela Rader... ever since Bramblett was
convicted last month of killing the Hodges family.

Salem Rotary Club's presentation of the annual Gagliardi award, which is given
annually to the top player in the Division Three.

was chosen from 9 other division three football players.
But the selection was a no-brainer. This season alone he completed over
67-per cent of his passes for 3-thousand 924 yards and a mind-boggling 57

Plus, in 373 passing attempts Borchert had only two interceptions.
