A bomb goes off outside a home in South Roanoke.
Good Afternoon I'm Tonya Flory. Jean Jadhon is off tonight.
It happened in Roanoke's finest neighborhood... between Yellow Mountain and Nottingham Roads.
At 8:40 this morning, Norvell West, the Third started to get in his truck, remembered he'd forgotten his cell phone and went back to get it.
As West got into the truck, the bomb went off.
Neighbors heard the blast.
Hume Powers was the first one to get to West.

West was treated and released.
It's the fourth incident West has reported to police within the last month. So far police say they've been unable to develop a link between them.
The man who allegedly TRIED to rob a Dublin bank this morning chose an escape route that led him right into the arms of police.
36- year old Jeffrey Dwayne Cook was apprehended near the Dublin Police department, which is adjacent to the First National Bank.
Police say Cook was wearing a Dr. Seuss type hat when he entered the bank around nine- forty and placed a bag on the counter and demanded cash.
But the teller did NOT hand over any money and Cook fled on foot.
He was arrested less than 10- minutes later by a Pulaski County sheriff's deputy.
