Citation to Ted Hansen by the Portland Chapter

For his years of tireless effort and interest in the building of the American Rhododendron Society, in the growth of the Portland Chapter, and in the development of the Crystal Springs City Park, we are grateful to Ted Hansen.
Ted Hansen will always be remembered for the hours of work he has given to the Crystal Springs Garden - from the supervision of labor, as Chairman of the Test Garden Committee, to the careful maintenance of the grounds.
In the capacity of Vice President and Program Chairman of the Portland Chapter, Ted took the opportunity to get many fine speakers. Thus the Portland membership had the advantage of acquainting themselves with leaders in this field.
We, the Portland Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, are honored to present to Ted Hansen an expression of our gratitude.
