Chapter Shows
- Some of the Chapter Shows will be over before the Bulletin reaches the members but they are included to give an overall picture of the show schedules.
- The California Show is to be held April 29-30 in the Demonstration Gardens of Strybing Arboretum. Mr. James Russell, the well known English rhododendron authority will be a judge. He will speak at the regular meeting on April 27.
- The Eugene Chapter Show will be on May 14 at the regular location in Hendricks Park.
- The Grays Harbor Chapter Show will be May 13 at the National Bank of Commerce in Aberdeen, Washington.
- The principal New York Chapter Show will be held May 20 at Planting Fields, Oyster Bay, Long Island. There will be another late show, June 3, also at Planting Fields. The Chapter also put in a garden of Lepidote rhododendrons at the Long Island Show and at the New York International Show, both of which caused considerable interest.
- The Olympia Chapter will have a show at Tumwater Falls Park near Olympia.
- The Portland Chapter Show will be at the usual place in the Test Garden in Portland on May 6 and 7.
- The Seattle Chapter Show will he May 18-21.
- The Shelton Chapter will have their show May 20, 21 at Simpson Court, 3rd and Franklin in Shelton.
- The Southeastern Chapter Show of course will be in connection with the Annual Meeting in Asheville, May 7-9.
- The Tacoma Chapter is having two shows this year. The truss show will be in connection with Gardeners' Paradise Day on May 6 and 7. There will be a show at the Tacoma Mall, May 19, 20, and 21. This will be for plants only, no cut trusses.
