JARS v44n4 - President's Column

One of the things that has impressed me as president is the importance of chapter secretaries and treasurers. Few individuals have more influence on the success and effectiveness of our society than these hardworking men and women. Many have served for years. They not only perform vital services for their chapters but also are the conduits for the transmittal of virtually all information between the chapters and our national headquarters.
So this is a great big salute to all those dedicated members who do so much, so well, so often, for all the rest of us. You're something special!
