American Rhododendron Society Divisions
Intensive thought and consideration are being given by the officers and members of the American Rhododendron Society as to methods of establishing chapters or divisions of the Society. It is realized that because of distances involved, the American Rhododendron Society can function as a truly national Society only by encouraging local groups to meet and develop their own programs with some assistance from the parent organization. The recent meeting of rhododendron enthusiasts in New York emphasizes the necessity of perfecting such an arrangement in the very near future.
