Eureka Grabs the OARS!

First there was Dr. Chuck Briggs. As most of you know, this summer has seen some changes in our administrative offices. Since May 15 Office ARS has developed a complete state-of-the-art computer system which will enable me to better serve your needs. For instance, your Journal is now arriving via electronic mail. Your chapter has rosters ready for sharing, and when you give a gift, or buy a book, it's all there in your special ARS Profile. Our bright new system is the work of Dr. Briggs, retired computer scientist, who volunteered his time to create our new system. Hundreds of hours went into this development. Then there was Tom Martin. Tom, a CPA and our new reviewer, volunteered several days of his time and that of his staff to polish up the way the office keeps our accounting records so that we can best serve you and our officers. Literally hundreds of new forms and reports have been created at this desk since May. Where would I have been without Nadine Seiler, our volunteer proofreader and all-around star helper? Need 10,000 labels changed? No problem. What a gift. When it was time to mail out the thousands of forms for the renewal season, Dolores Miller, wife of our District 5 Director, Chuck Miller, and Bruce and Nelda Palmer were here for the mass mailing operation. There is one other special person, who we'll just call Aunt June. June relieved any possible pressure when she offered to underwrite any work which needed to be hired in the event a dream team couldn't be organized. Aunt June and our Dream Team are all members of the Eureka Chapter. And now I'm happy to announce that your new Office ARS - OARS - is rowing at top speed - just for you! Thank you all for kindness and patience during the transition.
