Your enthusiastic efforts to promote interest in rhododendrons and your contributions to the American Rhododendron Society are many and memorable. You have served the American rhododendron Society as President, Director, and in countless committee positions. You have repeatedly been there to fill the need when others failed, and surpassed the best where others have succeeded. You are an exceptional person.
