"For a system that is about the improving the availability and dissemination of knowledge and improving the accessibility of information through technology your ETD system functions 10years behind the current technologies for database searches and is woefully anemic. I am constantly surprised by the lack of features available and the general visual appeal of the interface system. Why functions as simple as being able to search within a department and by a year are not possible frustrate me."

"The design of the "Browse" page prohibited me from clicking on the links to browse the ETDs by department (the footer was on top of the department letters, viewed on screen size 1280x1024). Viewing on a larger screen resolved this issue. A similar issue was encountered on the search page wherein the footer obstructed the search box. Here however, a larger screen did not resolve the issue. If the webpages could be changed to move the footer lower, this would be greatly appreciated. Technical details: user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0"

"You really should have the date the ETD was submitted visible next to the author, title, and department. It's frustrating to have to click on each and every one to find out. I'm a graduate student about to submit my ETD, and I want to see the format of the most recently submitted ones. Thanks!"
