Richard Julian Heberlin, 74, died Feb. 23, 1997, at his home.
Mr. Heberlin was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Norfolk, son of the late Will and Madge Minson Heberlin. He was retired.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen J. Heberlin; three sons, William A. Heberlin, Thomas E. Sharpnack, Robert D. Sharpnack; two daughters, Cynthia J. Bickford and Diane H. Lingo; three grandchildren, Heather Parsons, Devin Bickford and Kini Sharpnack.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Virginia Beach Church of God, 836 Regency Drive. Burial will be at sea. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
