Ruth J. Walikangas, 66, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died Feb. 23, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Framingham, Mass., she was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, James Walikangas; three daughters, Debra Fulgham of Virginia Beach, Joanne Booth of Hamlet, N.C., Helen Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; a son, James Walikangas Jr. of Norfolk; seven grandchildren and many loving friends.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
