Chester M. ``Ray'' Miller, 68, died Feb. 20, 1997, at his home.
He was born in Avon, N.C., the son of the late Alziria and Columbus Miller and was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Miller; a daughter, Dorothy Waltz of Waldorf, Md.; two sons, Jim Miller of Atlanta, and Vance Miller of Gales Creek; a sister, Bee Dixon of Morehead City; two brothers, Vernon Miller of Chesapeake and Vance Miller of Juniper, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gethsemane Memorial Park in Morehead City. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
