Capt. Jay Hart, of the Nags Head Fire Department, communicates with

other firefighters as a small brush fire is put out Monday afternoon

south of Satterfield Landing Road in Nags Head. About 500 square

feet of woods burned. Nearby businesses and homes were spared.
