CLIFTON T. WHITE JR.

Clifton Talmadge White Jr., 47, of Giles Drive died Feb. 24, 1997.

A tool and parts attendant at NADEP and later at Fort Eustis, employed by the Department of Defense, Mr. White was a Chesapeake native and a member of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton T. White Sr. and his sister, Patricia Louise White.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Bristow White; mother, Adelaide White; brother, Jeryl E. White of Chesapeake; cousin, Alma Lee Hill of Newport, N.C.; and other relatives.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by Pastor George Sweet. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Atlantic Shores Childrens Building Fund, 1861 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
