Mrs. Claire Neville Adams, 87, of the 4700 block of Bridge Road, died Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, in a Suffolk nursing home.
Born March 12, 1909, the daughter of Augustus and Mary Bellamy Neville, she was a native of Halifax County, N.C. She was a registered nurse.
Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter, Mary Wheeler Willis of Charleston, S.C.; a son, Benjamin Wheeler of Chesapeake; brother, Murray Neville of Bedford, Va.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Branch Memorial Chapel, Enfield, N.C., by the Rev. Rodney Lain. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
