Margaret Stone Hartt died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997.
She was a native of Cumberland Gap, Tenn. Mrs. Hartt, widow of Samuel Tolman Hartt, was a longtime resident of Richmond and Portsmouth.
She is survived by Katherine Kincaid Hartt of Albuquerque; Samuel Tolman Hartt Jr. of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; four grandchildren, Jennifer Caton of Birmingham, Ala., Ensign Stephen Johnson, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Samuel Hartt III and Ashley Hartt of Columbia, N.C.
