MARY F. FROMAL

Mary Florence Fromal, 79, of the 4100 block of First St., died Feb. 25, 1997.

Formerly employed by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Norfolk Tent and Awning Co., she was a Newport News native and the widow of August Charles Fromal Sr. She was a member of Hope Chapel Christian Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Edson Morgan of Virginia Beach, Frances Edson Brickhouse of Chesapeake and Harriett Fromal Bryson of Chesapeake; three sons, James William Edson of Tampa, Fla., August Charles Fromal Jr. and Robert Eugene Fromal Sr., both of Chesapeake; four sisters, Virgie Shreves of Portsmouth, Georgia Dixon of Jacksonville, Fla., Ada Mapes and Barbara Ann Wiggs, both of Chesapeake; brother, David Mapes of Chesapeake; 34 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fromal was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lawford Edson.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ben Goggin. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence at all other times. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
