ZEDDIE R. ASTERIS

Zeddie Rose Asteris, 88, of the 1600 block of Duke of Windsor Road, died Feb. 26, 1997.

Mrs. Asteris was a native of New Bern, N.C. She was a member of Beachlawn Baptist Church where she was involved with the W.M.U., the Church Choir and the King's Daughters Sunday School Class.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Augustis ``Jimmy'' Asteris when they lived in Franklin, Va.

Survivors include four daughters, Demita Law of Kingsport, Tenn., Marie Brown of Fair Oaks, Calif., Antoinette Hawa of Virginia Beach, Orsalia Asteris of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 1997, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Pastor Richard Yates. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to Beachlawn Baptist Church, 520 Norfolk Ave., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
