MABEL E. RAGAN

Mabel Elizabeth Ragan, 88, of the 400 block of Dinwiddie St., died Feb. 25, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of Walter C. Ragan. She was a retired salesperson of Sears, Betty & Bob, and was a Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothea `Dottie'' Scott of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary F. Brooks of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Won Un. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
