Mrs. Lucy Mackey Carr, 101, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at Nansemond Pointe Nursing Center, Suffolk.
She was the widow of Edward J. Carr of Richmond. Born in Rockbridge County, Va., she was the daughter of Mollie Bush and Wingfield Scott Mackey. She was a former member of Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church, Lexington, and Northminster Baptist Church, Richmond.
Survivors include two sons, Edward J. Carr Jr. of Virginia Beach, William M. Carr of Suffolk; a nephew, Page Mackey of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in Woody Funeral Home, Richmond, with interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
