Florence L. Yoder, 88, of Woodstock Road, died Feb. 28, 1997.
The widow of Norman C. Yoder, she retired as a homemaker in 1996. She was a member of Trinity Tabernacle Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Y. Jimerson of Virginia Beach, Mary Y. Gay of Chesapeake; two sons, Marvin C. Yoder of Fulton, Md., David E. Yoder of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mary M. Yoder of Montezuma, Ga., Sadie Dierkes of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Steven L. Miller of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Grinder and the Rev. Sam Beiler. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in her name to your local church.
