EDDIE BRIGHT

Melvin Eddie Bright, 41, of Route 1 died Monday, March 3, 1997, in his home.

Mr. Bright was born in Portsmouth. He was the supervisor of the N.C. Highway 32 ABC Package Store. He was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church, the Elizabeth City Moose Lodge and the Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Stallings Bright; daughter, Wendy LeAnna Bright; two sons, Melvin Clifton Bright and Christopher Robert Bright, all of the home; parents, Melvin V. and Mary Lee Miller Bright of Sunbury; a brother, S. Glenn Bright of Sunbury.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Stallings Family Cemetery by the Rev. Vern Gilmer and the Rev. Hugh Mizelle. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and all other times at the residence. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
