Charles Ralph Pattee, 86, died March 5, 1997.
A retired superintendent with N.A.R.F., he was a Washington, D.C., native and served in the Merchant Marines.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda C. Pattee; two daughters, Sandra Lee Pattee and Janet E. Pattee, both of Norfolk; son, Charles Ray Pattee of Norfolk; grandson, Charles Ralph Pattee III and his wife, Tilsa of New York; three great-grandsons, Michael, Steven and Christopher; close family friends, Carol and Rob Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Charles Ralph Sr. and Theresa Lee Pattee.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
