SUSIE T. PORTER

Susie Thomas Porter, of the 4800 block of E. Gurney Court, died Tuesday, March 4, 1997, in a Richmond hospital.

Born in Wallace, N.C., she was retired from St. Regis Paper Co. and a member of Trinity Outreach Center, Franklin, and a past member of Piney Grove Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol L. Davis of Franklin; three sons, Thomas Harvin of Paterson, N.J., Percy Lee Harvin of Hampton, Willie L. Harvin of Richmond; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Piney Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. C. L. Myrick. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home from 7 to 8 tonight. Family will assemble at 2:40 p.m. in the funeral home for the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
