Harriet L. Rountree, 74, of the 7300 block of Joyner Bridge Road died Sunday, March 9, 1997, in her home.
A homemaker, she was a native of Mount Hope, W.Va., and a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Marshall J. Rountree Sr.; two sons, Marshall J. Rountree Jr. of Brandeburg, Ky., Albert G. Rountree of Odessa, Fla., daughter, Theresa A. Roberts of San Antonio, Texas; and three grandchildren. Her parents, Sarah Ruth Spivey Loruenser and Charles R. Loruenser, are deceased.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 1997, in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Ruffin Alphin. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, and at other times in the home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
