John D. Carson, 70, died March 8, 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Carson; five daughters, Shirley Skinner, Wanda Bouknight, Karen Williams, Vida Lyons, and Johnna Harold; four sons, Dwight Carson, Paul Lyons Sr., Matthew Lyons, and Ellerson Lyons Jr.; four brothers, Earl N. Carson, Parris D. Carson, James Carson, and Willie L. Carson; two sisters, Dorthea Bryant and Jody Mae Carson; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Tabernacle United Church of Christ by the Rev. Carlton Upton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Garden. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the residence. Crocker Funeral Home in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
