Charles Marden Vernay, 71, of the 3800 block of Atlantic Ave., died March 11, 1997.
Mr. Vernay was a native of Baltimore. He was preceeded in death by a son, Tuckett Vernay.
Survivors include his wife, Iris M. Vernay; a son, Mark Vernay of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Howard Vernay of San Diego, George Vernay of Sanibel, Fla.; and two grandchildren, William Vernay and Christopher Vernay, both of Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Galilee Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Russell Burchard. H.D. Oliver Funeral Home, Laskin Road, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
