J.B. LUCAS

J.B. ``Jimmey'' Lucas, 58, of the 5600 block of Craneybrooke Lane, died March 9, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center.

He was a warehouseman for H&M Consolidation. He was a member of Revelation Tabernacle Worship Center.

He leaves to cherish his memories his previous wife, Virginia Lucas; three daughters, Maria Louise Lucas, Pamela Lassiter, ReGina Lucas; two sons, Melvin Lucas and David Lucas; seven sisters, Mary-Ann Lucas, Dorothy Lucas, Patricia Lucas, Tammy Lucas, Lisa Lucas, Casie Lucas, Teresa Lucas; 10 brothers, Andrew Lucas, Marvin Lucas, Tucson Lucas, Douglas Lucas, Waddel Lucas, Odell Lucas, Tony Lucas, Melvin Lucas Jr., Leon Lucas, Irwin Lucas; a great-aunt, Elsie Witherspoon; two great-uncles, Ruel Wiggins, Jake Wiggins; three grandchildren, Matthew Lucas, Sheakelly Lucas, Davon Lucas; a son-in-law, Christopher Lassiter; a host of other relatives and friends; and a special cousin, Casie Bee Lucas.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Revelation Tabernacle Worship Center, 1478 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Al Jones. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may meet the family from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Serenity Funeral Home.
