Mohammed S. Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States, will address the World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads Wednesday on ``The Future of Security in the Persian Gulf.''
Al-Sabah, who has a doctorate in economics from Harvard University, has been Kuwait's ambassador in Washington since January 1993. During the 1990-91 Iraqi occupation of Kuwait, he was a member of the Higher Consultative Council that supervised the activities of Kuwait's government in exile.
His speech in Boyd Dining Hall at Virginia Wesleyan College is open to the public.
The program includes a reception at 6:15 p.m., dinner at 7 and the speech at 8. The cost is $16 for council members, $20 for nonmembers and $10 for students. For reservations, call 461-3664 by 11 a.m. Monday. ILLUSTRATION: [Photo]
