Police are investigating the theft of an estimated $300 worth of suspected heroin from an evidence locker in the Police Department.
There are no suspects, said Amber Whittaker, a police spokeswoman.
The narcotics were being temporarily stored in a single evidence locker awaiting forensics testing. The drugs were seized March 8 in the 60 block of Lexington Drive.
