ROBIN L. STEVENS

Robin Lynese Stevens, 42, of the 800 block of Freedom Ave., and a native of Portsmouth, died March 13, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Krystal Stevens; a son, Kevin Stevens; mother, Lilian Shamlee; four sisters, Barbara Jean Williams, Eleanor Meely, Lilian Zebbs and JoAnn Faircloth; five brothers, William C. Shamlee Jr., James Edward Shamlee, Charles Anthony Shamlee, Harry Lee Shamlee and Robert Lee Shamlee; two aunts, Josephine Carrey and Polly Jordan; and special friends, Carrie Clemmons and Wirtie Nelson Brickhouse. She was predeceased by her father, William C. Shamlee.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Viewing will being at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at 2618 Bell St., Portsmouth. Serenity Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
