EMMA J. MOORE

Emma J. Moore, 77, of the 100 block of Hansen Ave., died March 15, 1997.

Mrs. Moore was born in Seaboard, N.C., and was the widow of Junius L. Moore. She was a member of Third Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Marie Jeffers, Sondra Taylor, Brenda Ward and Norma Clark; three sons, Thomas Jordan, George Jordan and Junius Moore; five sisters, Gertie Johnson, Patty Artis, Verdell Saunders, Jennie Joyner and Lara Anderson; devoted granddaughter, Nicole Moore; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sons-in-law, and two daughters-in-law.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at 1506 Belafonte Drive and will assemble there for the procession. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
