THE Taste of Hampton Roads, one of the largest annual fund raisers for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m., April 2 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott.
About 40 restaurants, caterers, food and drink vendors will offer samplings from appetizers to desserts. Organizers hope this year's event will raise about $40,000 for the food bank.
Tickets cost $35 each and are available at Decorum, 21st Street and Llewellyn Avenue, Norfolk; Harris Teeter stores in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake and The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, 2308 Granby St., Norfolk.
