BOBBY G. STALLINGS

Bobby Gene Stallings, 63, of the 3500 block of Joyce Court, died March 19, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of Middlesex, N.C., he worked at the Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a member of West Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include his mother, Claudia E. Puryear of Portsmouth; wife, Barbara A. Stallings; five daughters, Tammy Stallings Layton and Ruthie Martin, both of Portsmouth, Patty Biernot, Vickie Read and Karen R. Santo, all of Chesapeake; three brothers, Percy Stallings of Georgia and Charles M. Stallings and Wilton Ray Stallings, both of North Carolina; and nine grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Keith Lewis. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
