JUDY M. DOZIER

Judy Mathews Dozier, 51, of the 300 block of Esplanade Place, died March 19, 1997 at her residence. She was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Williamston, N.C., the daughter of the late Alfred K. Mathews. She was employed as an R.N., Hospice nurse with Home Health Care.

She is survived by her mother, Elsie Nourse Mathews of Horsehead, N.Y.; one daughter, Heather D. Twiford and her husband, Darrell of Aydlett, N.C.; one son, Jeffery Charles Dozier of Bells Island, N.C.; one brother, John Alfred Mathews of Liverpool, N.Y.; one grandson, Dalton Twiford of Aydlett, N.C.

A funeral service will be conducted in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, Sunday, March 23, 1997 at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Joyce Kramer and Douglas Harn officiating. Graveside services will follow in Laurel Memorial Gardens, Poplar Branch, N.C., at 4:30 p.m. The family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday evening March 22, 1997, from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the In Home Health Care or Comfort Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
